Care and Sustainability

Desudo clothing is premium dress wear that is made to last.
Our collections are designed with purpose to be timeless wardrobe staples.
We encourage conscious consumption of fashion and to build a curated wardrobe with pieces you love and wear forever.

CARE

Every aspect of our garments has been carefully designed and sourced to ensure the lifespan is a long as possible. It does require some care from you, our customers. We recommend first washing your garment separately to avoid any colour run. The garments are made from delicate material and should be treated with care. Avoid sitting or brushing against rough surfaces as the friction can wear at the fabric unintentionally. For extra protection if machine washing, place your items in a delicates bag and put on a slow spin. Please adhere to the care instructions on the clothing label, which are also outlined below. These instructions are also listed in the description on the garment pages.

Cold gentle machine or hand wash.
Do not wring.
Hang or lie flat to dry.
Gentle steam to remove creases.

FABRIC

Our clothing is designed and made in Australia, using Lenzing TENCELTM Lyocell Filament. Tencel is a natural and sustainable material produced from wood pulp. This fabric is strong and has great moisture retention, which is great for absorbing sweat. It is more absorbent than cotton and dries quicker!

DETAILS

Desudo clothing labels are woven from quality material so will last a lifetime along with the clothes. The labels include the individual garment information on the front and the care instructions on the flip side to minimise the number of labels on the garment. We have also used shell buttons for the Origin Blouse.

PACKAGING

Your Desudo products are wrapped in soft tissue paper that can be recycled in your own home. To ship our garments, we use home compostable mailer bags from Hero Packaging. If you need to return your order to us, you can reuse the mailer bag it came in, as there is a second sealable strip!

"In my personal shopping research to find breathable clothes I can wear without showing sweat, I found Tencel to be the best material to manage my hyperhidrosis and make me feel comfortable due to its absorbent capabilities." - Alex, Founder.
