Beginning this journey started with the following doubt: Isn't fashion sort of trivial? Non-essential?

The answer is no. Fashion and clothes can improve your sense of self-worth, self-confidence, performance and so many other things. Feeling comfortable in your clothes will set you up for success in your day. 

How many times have you worn a shirt and realised it was less sweat-friendly than you thought, and you sweat right through it leaving huge pit stains and marks from your hands?? Personally, it has happened too many times to count.

These small (but sometimes huge) inconveniences can severely impact us, as those of us with hyperhidrosis well know. Choosing the right item of clothing can make a huge difference to our day. When I wrote this all down back in 2020 it was clear to me that fashion and clothing is absolutely not trivial, and I wanted to solve my own issue with it.

 

My name is Alex and I have had hyperhidrosis my entire life. As the founder of Desudo I design the clothes specifically to withstand sweating and with a comfortable clothing experience in mind. I also personally test each garment for their wearability to ensure they can conceal sweat. My vision is to create clothing for easy but sophisticated dressing. Desudo is designed on the Gold Coast, QLD and made locally in Australia using sustainable fabric.

I don't want to be limited by my clothing choices anymore, and I don't want that for you either.

Desudo is about feeling confident, comfortable, and able to achieve anything. I want you to be able to believe in yourself like I have when I've found the exact right item of clothing that suits my needs. I want you to feel invincible, and that something as normal as finding and wearing good clothes doesn't feel like a horror story.

I've struggled so much trying to find clothes that are 'sweat-proof' and disguise sweat stains, that don't smell if they're wet, that are sort of life-proof. Obviously, this doesn't exist because nothing is life-proof. But! The next best thing exists: fabric and material that IS forgiving with sweating and daily life. That's what I envision for Desudo - timeless and durable clothing that's made to last and conceal sweat.
